Today we are going to learn about ARTHROPODS.
But first we are going to review about animals and invertebrates.





The Arthropods are an invertebrate group.


Arthropods have an external exoskeleton.


There are four arthropods groups:

INSECTS


An insect´s body is divided into three parts: head, thorax and abdomen.


The thorax has six legs.


ARACHNIDS


Have eight legs.

The body is divided into two parts:



CRUSTACEANS


Have ten or more legs.

The body is divided into two parts:



MYRIAPODS



Have many legs.

After we have watched this page we are going to watch the next video about Insects.

TYPES OF ENERGY (Unit 4-Science Y6)

Remember the definition of ENERGY:

It is the ability to do work.

Depending on what source we use to produce it we can have different types of energy:







ACTIVITY: In your groups or with a partner try to identify how is each type of energy produce.
  • For example: electrical energy is produced by the flow of electric charge.

ENERGY (Unit 4 - Science Y6)

Let's start with a new topic in Science. This week we are going to learn about ENERGY. 

First of all I want you to investigate about our daily life and activitiy. 


  • Let's explore the school and try to find the different sources of energy that we use.
  • What is the most frequently one?


Try to identify what these pictures are about. Once you have identify you can use your Dictionary or your laptop to know the name in English.
