I WAS A FAMOUS (English Y6)

OBJETIVOS DE LA ACTIVIDAD (Siguiendo Currículo Educación Primaria Castilla y León - Real Decreto 40/2007 de 3 de mayo):
Al final de esta actividad el alumno será capaz de:
  • Producir una conversación de forma autónoma basada  en las estructuras previamente trabajadas (Have to, past simple and wh- questions).
  • Crear varios textos descriptivos mediante la interpretación de un personaje creado por ellos mismos. 
  • Utilizar las TIC para la búsqueda de información y para la creación del producto final a llevar a cabo en la tarea. 
  • Reflexionar sobre su propio aprendizaje y organización del trabajo utilizando técnicas de autocorrección y evaluación. 
ENFOQUE COMPETENCIAL. 
  • Competencia Lingüísitica:
    • El alumno será capaz de:
      • Escribir varios textos descriptivos basándose en el personaje creado por ellos mismos. 
      • Utilizar los códigos de comunicación para conversar solicitando información.
  • Competencia Digital y tratamiento de la información:
    • El alumno será capaz de:
      • Dominar y aplicar a diferentes situaciones y contextos diferentes lenguajes: visual, icónico, textual, gráfico, etc...
      • Generar producciones serias, responsables y creativas.
      • Comenzar a identificar estrategias a utilizar para resolver situaciones y problemas con el software y el hardware utilizado.
  • Competencia Cultural y Artísitica:
    • El alumno será capaz de:
      • Poner en funcionamiento la iniciativa, la imaginación y la creatividad para expresarse mediante códigos artísticos.
  • Competencia de Aprender a Aprender:
    • El alumno será capaz de:
      • Organizar el trabajo planteándose metas a corto, medio y largo plazo. 
      • Plantear actividades y organizar los tiempos.
  • Competencia de Autonomía e Iniciativa Personal.
    • El alumno será capaz de:
      • Tener una actitud positiva al cambio.

  1. Create a presentation with five slides:
  2. First slide: TITLE (Your costume's photo)
  3. Second slide: Write nine sentences about you (as the character you are pretending to be).
    • Use Grammar ticket A.B. page 26. Have to / don't have to.
    • Use the key words C.B. page 24.
      • Clean the floor.
      • Do the shopping.
      • Do the washing-up.
      • Make (your) bed.
      • Take the rubbish out.
      • Tidy up
      • Go to the market.
      • Look after the animals.
      • Look after young brothers and sisters.
  4. Choose a famous to these presentations and you have to dress-up like his or her. We will have two presentations, because this year we are going to take in account the "8M International Women's Day".



  1. Make pairs and you have to imagine that you were a journalist years ago. You are going to make questions and answers to be interviewer by your partner.
    • Use Grammar Ticket A.B. page 28. Past simple questions.
    • Yes / No.
    • Wh-questions: What, where, who, when, why and how.
  2. Rec the interview and upload to youtube. (SCRIPT)
    1. Greetings.
    2. Introduce yourself.
    3. Introduce the place.
    4. Interview.
    5. Farewell.
  3. Use the answers to write a composition about your famous partner.
    • Use Grammar Ticket A.B. page 24. Past simple and list of irregular verbs on page 92.
    • There will be seven sentences or more in the composition.
