LET´S EXPERIMENT WITH FORCES (Science Y6)

Today we are going to start a new topic in our Science lesson: FORCES

Why the ball is moving in every case?
What are the people doing to move the ball?

And now, What is going to happen with the ball?
How is it going to move?

With all this previous information, Can you say what a force is?

LET'S MAKE SOME EXPERIMENTS TO IDENTIFY DIFFERENT KIND OF FORCES.

1. Let's take an elastic band, and tie something like a key in one part. Hold the elastic band from the opposite part. Try to identify what happens on it and why it happens.

2. Take a plastic pen, and some small pieces of paper. Rub very quickly the pen with something made of wool. Then you will move the pen closer to the papers. Try to identify what happens on it and why it happens.

3. Let's take two magnets and try to put them together. Try to identify what happens on them and why it happens.

4. Let's play with a car. Launch the car along the floor of a classroom, First do it very soft and then do it stronger. What has happened? When has it stopped later?

LET'S CHECK YOUR LEARNING
ABOUT THE KIND OF FORCES:

IF YOU HAVE MORE TIME HERE YOU CAN INCREASE YOUR KNOWLEDGE.

8 comentarios:

  1. 1.That the key move in the air and fall to the ground.
    2. That the pen attract the paper, because the wool has elastic electricity.
    3. Tht if you put one magnet in the opposite poles, the magnets attract each other. And if the same poles are placed together, repels each other.
    4. That if you move slow the car is going to move slow and if you move quicly the car goes away.

  2. 1.The elastic band stretches and up to the air but later down to the ground by
    the force of gravity.
2.The pen takes electricity and attract the paper.
3.If you put two magnets by the same poles they repel each other, and if you put them by different poles attract each other
4.If you move the car slowly it goes slow, but if you move the car fast it goes fast.

  3. 1- The key fall into the ground . The Gravity.
2-The pen attract the pieces of paper. It has electricity.
3--When the opposite poles of two magnets are placed together the magnets attract each other . If the same poles of two magnets are placed together they repel. Magnetic force.
4-If you push the car with little force it goes slowly , but if you push the car with more force it goes quickly.

  4. 1- The key goes to the air and them falls to the ground.
2- They attract the pieces of the paper with the pen.
3- When you put two magnets with the opposite pole together they attract and when you put the same pole they repel.
4- If you move a car with a little shove the car goes slow but if the car goes fast because you cause shove.

  5. 1-The key move in the earth and go to the ground.
2-The pen attract the peppers , because the wool has static electricity.
3- Ocurs they attract and happens because they a magnetims.
4- If you move a car with a little shove the car goes slow but if the car goes fast because you cause shove.

  6. 1- Ocurs that the key move in the air.
2- Ocurs that the pieces of paper are atracted by the plastic pen.
3- Ocurs they atract and happens because they a magnetism.
4- Ocurs that push the car with little force.

  7. 1. The forces of gravity do it : the gravity atract to the key and the key falls to the groung
2.The pen have static electricity and then atract the small pieces of paper.
3.The magnets: if you put the oposite poles they atracct and if you put the same posision of the poles they repel.
4.If you move the car with a little shove the car goes more slow than if you cause shove.
